RIDE WITH

A LOCAL CLUB

Established in 1936 and with a peak membership of over 200,

BRCC has a long and well founded reputation for being a friendly, local cycling club.

The weekly Sunday club rides are also beginning to establish a regular pattern again, with small socially distanced 'bubbles' leaving the Pink Pub on most Sundays at 9am, and even some weekday evening rides starting to gather pace and popularity  Check our facebook page for more details.

ALL ABILITES WELCOME

BEGINNERS  AND VETERANS, FAST AND NOT QUITE SO FAST!

Whatever your ability is now and whatever your aim is for the future, if it's cycling related, then BRCC will always offer a warm welcome and try to help you to achieve what you want in a friendly and supportive way. Of course, cake and coffee during that journey is optional!

LOCAL AREA

SUNDAY CLUB RIDES…

On Sunday mornings throughout the year, except when there is a special event or morning time trial, we meet at 9.00am for the weekly club ride.  This regular ride, with a stop for coffee and cake is open to all riders.

The routes vary and are most suitable for traditional road bikes, but, if it's got two wheels and is roadworthy, you'd be welcome to join us. We've seen Cyclocross; Touring; Flat-Bar; Fixed-Gear Bicycles and even tandems…

We aim to have a 'ride leader' identified for every 'Club' ride, they will be an experienced club member who knows the routes and will make sure everyone gets out and back safely.

WHAT THEY SAY

what being a member of the club has meant?

CHARITY

BRCC's SPONSORED CHARITY FOR 2020 KSS AIR AMBULANCE

Bognor Regis Cycling Club, Is raising money throughout 2020 for the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance service. They provide a Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS), responding to patients who have suffered trauma or serious medical emergencies.

They operate 24 hours a day, ensuring they will be there for the most critically ill and injured people in the region. Operating two aircraft – one from the Marden base in daylight hours, and the other from their Redhill base 24 hours a day. It means that no matter where you are in Kent, Surrey or Sussex, you are never more than 20 minutes away from the life-saving care that they can bring directly to your side.

As a charity, they rely almost entirely on donations and fundraising, and without this kind support, they simply could not continue their life-saving work.

As a club we hope that we are never in a situation where we need their services, but it is good to know they are there and have decided to take this year to raise as much money as we can to towards this cause.
