9am from the Pink Pub. The standard BRCC Sunday format and route to Stansted with a stop at Tangmere to meet anyone joining us there.
Club ride format will be observed, so no-one left behind, mechanical assistance given if required and a Relaxed/Steady Sunday morning pace.
All welcome, with a reasonable forecast for the weather, so why not join us?
Although assistance will be given with any mechanical issues, please bring a basic repair kit with you including a spare tube, pump and tyre levers. If you're not sure, have a chat with any of the regular members while you're out with us to see what they would recommend you include.
Sunday club training ride, leaving the Pink Pub at 8:00.
50+ miles at a reasonable tempo pace with a few hills for good measure. Coffee stop at Stanstead if we have time, aiming to be back to the PP by 1pm latest. We are considering pushing the start time to 9am soon to avoid early frost. Details of any changes will be posted on Facebook and in these email notifications
The club has a long and rich history in the local area. We cater for all standards of cycling, from beginner to veteran.
Whether you just want to get more from your cycling in a safe and friendly environment. Explore some of the wonderful local countryside with other likeminded people who will look out for each other and encourage you to do more whilst keeping a realistic pace and achievable goals.
Perhaps you want to develop more advanced cycling activities such as longer sportives riding or to enter the competitive Time Trial and Road Racing scene.
Whatever your ability is now and whatever your aim is for the future, if it's cycling related, then BRCC will always offer a warm welcome and try to help you to achieve what you want in a friendly and supportive way. Of course, cake and coffee during that journey is optional!
See our 'Club Rides' page for more details on our weekly organised rides.
Whilst it's not compulsory to join our club if you want to ride out with us on a Sunday or on some of our other club events, there are many reasons why becoming a member would make your cycling experience much more enjoyable. We actively encourage you to come and meet us and try one or two of our events before joining, and then after that we would ask that you make a committment and join.

We have negotiated discounts with suppliers on a wide range of products and services related to cycling. From local bike shops for those regular purchases to national insurance companies and a host of things in between.
