The club has a long and rich history in the local area. We cater for all standards of cycling, from beginner to veteran.
Whether you just want to get more from your cycling in a safe and friendly environment. Explore some of the wonderful local countryside with other likeminded people who will look out for each other and encourage you to do more whilst keeping a realistic pace and achievable goals.
Perhaps you want to develop more advanced cycling activities such as longer sportives riding or to enter the competitive Time Trial and Road Racing scene.
Whatever your ability is now and whatever your aim is for the future, if it's cycling related, then BRCC will always offer a warm welcome and try to help you to achieve what you want in a friendly and supportive way. Of course, cake and coffee during that journey is optional!
See our 'Club Rides' page for more details on our weekly organised rides.
Whilst it's not compulsory to join our club if you want to ride out with us on a Sunday or on some of our other club events, there are many reasons why becoming a member would make your cycling experience much more enjoyable. We actively encourage you to come and meet us and try one or two of our events before joining, and then after that we would ask that you make a committment and join.
First Claim Menbership (if this is the only club you are a member of) costs only £20 a year and you will then be able to enjoy the full benefits of being a club member.
You will get access to our facebook group and club news mailings with details of events and activities only open to club members.
We have negotiated discounts with suppliers on a wide range of products and services related to cycling. From local bike shops for those regular purchases to national insurance companies and a host of things in between.
We have a club members card, this will offer ID and ICE contacts while you are out riding.
Access to the members only section of this web site, with details on how to benefit from the discounted rates and news for club members.
Membership fees are First Claim - £20, Second Claim £15 and Juniors (under 18) £15. Membership covers the period 1st December 2015 to 30th November 2016
